CLIFTON, NJ-Peter Guo LLC, an importer and distributor of spices, has acquired the 30,800-sf industrial building at 155 Clifton Blvd. here, and will relocate its operations to the site. The seller was Leoncio Benitez Picture Knits, which has vacated the premises.
"This building offers an excellent strategic location for a company that was seeking a warehouse/distribution facility along a rail line," says Craig A. Levitan, sales associate for NAI James E. Hanson, Hackensack, who represented the buyer. The seller was represented by Sheila Sachs of Team Resources, Carlstadt. The sale price was reported as $2.7 million, or about $87 per sf.
Built in 1974, the building combines 28,800 sf of industrial space with 2,000 sf of office space. According to Levitan, it has four loading docks, 22-ft clear ceilings, outside storage and active rail access.
