Miramar-based Blackacre Advisors LLC represented State Farm and Debra Kremblas, vice president of Procacci Development Corp., represented the landlord in the transaction.
"We look forward to State Farm and future tenants in our buildings having the ability to experience little or no downtime after a hurricane, having the assurance that their assets are protected and being in a location that is easily accessible with an abundance of surrounding amenities," says Procacci Development Corp. president Philip Procacci.
Procacci is currently developing Emerald View, which will contain 180,000 sf and will be able to withstand Category 5 hurricane winds of 185 miles per hour. The company is also developing Crossroads at Dolphin Commerce Center, located North of the Dolphin Mall on Florida's Turnpike, which will be comprised of more than 700,000 sf. An additional 90,900 sf of warehouse/showroom space is also under development.
