Neil Selinger, CEO of Lowey Dannenberg, says the firm will be relocating its headquarters to One North Broadway by the end of this year or in January 2007. It signed a long-term lease for 13,241 sf on the fifth floor of the 15-story 395,978-sf office building. The more than 700,000-sf twin-tower White Plains Plaza office complex is owned by Heyman Properties of Westport, CT.

Lowey Dannenberg employs 17 attorneys at its White Plains headquarters as well as paralegals and support staff. The firm, which also maintains an office in West Conshohocken, PA, specializes in complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on securities and anti-trust law. Some of its clients include the New York City Pension Funds; Aetna Inc.; the public shareholders of Standard Oil Co.; and public bondholders of Burlington Northern Railroad.

Greenberg notes the deal is an example of the continued strong leasing activity that has been generated by the legal sector in the White Plains CBD. This is fueled in part by the presence in the city of a federal courthouse and state and county courts.
