SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ-Trane has renewed its 6,000-sf first-floor lease at 107 Corporate Blvd. here, a space it utilizes as a combination of a retail sales operation and parts and service center. Trane is the HVAC business of American Standard Corp.
Sean Brady of Cushman & Wakefield's East Rutherford office and Bob Sheehy of the firm's Long Island office represented Trane. Property owner National Realty & Development Co. was represented in-house. Terms were not released.
"This property has suited Trane's needs for a local retail center and small warehouse for more then 10 years," says Brady, who notes that the tenant signed its initial lease a decade ago. The latest signing is its second renewal. "The space provides a quality image for retail customers and access for its service professionals."
The signing is the latest of several C&W has done for Trane. Besides the initial signing and two renewals here, Brady has also orchestrated a 40,000-sf lease for the company in Teterboro, a 60,000-sf lease in Pine Brook and a 25,000-sf deal in Piscataway. And Sheehy, who works with American Standard on an international basis, has been involved in the three local deals.
