W&M Properties, the building and managing agent for 10 Bank St., reports that Liberty Mutual Group of Boston signed an early renewal for its 8,979-sf office on the 10th floor of the 12-story building. A tenant since 1997, Liberty Mutual renewed its lease through 2012.
The deal is "is indicative of the surge in the demand for space in the best suburban office buildings," says W&M Properties executive vice president Jeffrey H. Newman. Newman and W&M Properties assistant vice president Kathleen A. Caracappa represented the owner in the transaction. Robert Shulman, a managing partner at Cresa Partners in Boston, represented the tenant.
W&M Properties also reports it has signed a new 10-year lease with Rockwood Capital for 13,025 sf at 10 Bank and a renewal and expansion lease through 2013 with Evolution Markets Inc. for 10,279 sf.
