PICO RIVERA, CA-ATL Logistics has signed a 61-month lease for 46,600 sf at City of Industry-based Majestic Realty Co.'s 8860 Rex Rd. building in one of two new leases signed by Majestic recently. In the other deal, data processing firm Management Applied Programming signed a 10-year, $5.9 million lease for 20,000 sf office space at the Atrium, a Majestic property at the 110-acre Crossroads Business Park in the City of Industry.
ATL is a national third-party distributor, providing warehousing and administrative services, including domestic and international retail distribution. The company, which is a subsidiary of New York-based ATL Global Group, was represented by Brian McLoughlin of the Commerce office of CB Richard Ellis. Majestic was represented internally by brokers Terry Baker, Kevin McCarthy and Bill Hayden.
The Management Applied Programming office lease came about when an existing Atrium tenant, Benefit Programs Administration, nearly doubled its leased office space when it consolidated all of its corporate operations into one location. That brought parent company Management Applied Programming and American Insurance Administrators into the Atrium.
Management Applied Programming, through its Benefit Programs Administration Group, offers customized, personalized solutions for labor/management-sponsored benefit plans. AIA provides medical claims processing services to both the private and public sectors.
Majestic Realty brokers David E. Bui and Josh Wheeler handled the transaction. The 220,000-sf Atrium is the flagship building of the Crossroads Business Park, which totals nearly one million sf of office, retail and industrial development.
