Northstar Travel Media was represented by Managing Director Robert Eisenberg, in the New York office of Newmark Knight Frank, and Senior Managing Director Lee Kosmac in Newmark's Rutherford, NJ office. The owner of the building, Cosco, was represented by an agency team headed by Greg Barkan of CB Richard Ellis' New Jersey office. One of Cosco's subsidiaries, Cosco Container Lines Inc., is the building's primary tenant, maintaining its headquarters at the site.
"This transaction is one of the few intra-market relocations this year by a large office tenant within the Meadowlands market, an office market that has been largely defined by renewals," Eisenberg says. "The building's floor plates and space layout enabled Northstar to recreate its office environment in the new location. Cosco was very responsive to Northstar's needs."
