Lewis Cowan with Grubb & Ellis represented Sullivan Papain Block McGrath & Cannavo. The law firm originally leased the space in 1993 and its current lease was not due to expire until the beginning of 2009. Under the new lease, the firm plans to upgrade the facility.
In a statement, Cowan says, "They opted to renew early in order to secure the most advantageous location with the best possible terms in a rising Downtown market. We toured several other properties with availabilities that fit the firm's requirements and solicited outside proposals for space prior to the renewal, but in the end, Sullivan Papain Block McGrath & Cannavo felt 120 Broadway was the best location for their needs."
The building's central location in Downtown, quality services and ownership were among the reasons the law firm opted to remain. Silverstein Properties owns the site and was represented in-house by Catherine Gilberti.
