SciPark is a joint venture between Simon Developments of Lloyd Harbor, NY and Woodmont Properties of Parsippany. Simon initiated the project in 2003, and Woodmont signed on as a partner in early 2006. The developers have also announced that they have hired GVA Williams New Jersey to find tenants for the 32.3-acre campus.
"It's unique," says John Cunningham, executive vice president at GVA Williams NJ's Parsippany office, who's teaming with executive vice president Steven Tolcash at GVA Williams/Buschman's Princeton office to market the property. "It has been designed to accommodate the image and flexibility required by expanding high-tech, biomedical, telecommunications, life science and high-tech companies."
Currently, all of the property's projected space is available for lease, either for single- or multi-tenant use. The initial 66,000-sf building is available for a single user, or is divisible to 6,000-sf modular units, according to a prospectus issued by the brokers. The developers are also offering private drives and corporate signage to tenants.
SciPark is situated about six miles from Princeton at Exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike. Located on Old Trenton Road., is also near New Jersey Transit's Princeton Station and the general aviation Princeton and Trenton-Robbinsville airports. Corporate neighbors include McGraw-Hill, Elementis, Shiseido, Nexmed, Aetna Insurance, AT&T, Pharmcopia, Purdue Pharma and Lavipharm Lab.
