Cushman & Wakefield, which brokered the deal, reports that the administrative functions of the hospital, currently housed at 55 Holly Hill Ln. in Greenwich, CT., will move to its new space on the first floor of the 201,460-sf building by this spring.
C&W's Christopher O'Callaghan, senior director, and Peter Sweetser, director, represented Greenwich Hospital and building owner Wafra Investments in the transaction.
The hospital considered several space alternatives in Westchester County and Fairfield County before deciding on the 900 King St. property, C&W officials note.
"Greenwich Hospital was facing space constraints," O'Callaghan says. "At 900 King St., Greenwich Hospital was able to obtain high quality office space at very competitive rental rates and still remain in close proximity to the hospital."
