RICHMOND, CA-A 54,240-sf industrial manufacturing building on 6.82 acres here has changed hands for $4.2 million. Justine Realty Co. sold the building at 2600 Goodrick Ave. to D.R Stephens & Co.

The building is fully leased to Graham Packaging Co. LP, one of the few plastic bottle manufacturers still located in the East Bay. The company has been in the building for 35 years. Among other things, the company provides plastic bottles for Castrol Motor Oil and Chevron oil refineries.

The lone broker in the deal, Todd Severson with Colliers International in Oakland office tells GlobeSt.com that the company was very interested in who the new owner. "They have two years left on their lease and a five-year renewal option, which they will exercise," Severson says. "It is important that they be able to remain in the building because they want to be near Chevron, which is located a few miles away."
