EL SEGUNDO, CA-Newport Beach-based Realty Associates Advisors LLC has acquired two buildings totaling 67,907 sf from Kilroy Realty for $14.8 million, according to Voit Commercial Brokerage. The property is an office/industrial project consisting of a 61,545-sf and a 6,362-sf building with a four-level parking structure at 181-185 S. Douglas and 2270 E. El Segundo.

According to Mike Bouma of the Anaheim Metro office of Voit, the acquisition represented a rare opportunity for the buyer to own a quality project in the recovering El Segundo office market. He points out that the project, which is 100% occupied, benefits from a stable tenant base and an over-standard parking ratio that may allow for potential expansion.

Bouma and fellow Voit broker Rob Mitchell represented the buyer, with Kilroy represented in-house by Joe Hanen. The two-story 185 S. Douglas St. building was built in 1980 and the one-story 2270 East Segundo Blvd. building was built in 1975.
