FAIRFIELD, NJ-Protech Powder Coatings Inc. has purchased 21 Audrey Place, a 33,600-sf industrial building here for an undisclosed price. The company, part of the Montreal-based Protech/Oxyplast Group, will move its sole US manufacturing operation to the site from its current leased facility at 81 Walsh Dr. in Parsippany. The company makes a variety of chemical-related powder coatings.
Protech was represented in the transaction by Stephen Elman and Jules Nissim, both of Cushman & Wakefield of NJ's East Rutherford office. The seller, the Estate of Frank Basile, was represented by Glenn Fallivene of the Fallivene Agency, West Caldwell. The sale price was not released.
"It offers a more efficient layout than Protech's current location," says Elman of the single-story 21 Audrey Place. "We kept our site search within Morris and suburban Essex counties in order to accommodate the company's employee base. This property, with access off I-80 and Route 46, is a perfect fit."
