The firm was founded in early 2004 when a group of more than 30 attorneys broke away from the firm of McElroy Deutsch & Mulvaney, and its presence at 350 Mt. Kemble Rd. started out with a 21,604-sf sublet.

"Coughlin Duffy is one of the region's fastest growing law firms," says Jack Feeney, managing director in Studley's Iselin office, who teamed with colleagues Joe Messina and Pat O'Keefe to represent the tenant. "This expansion plays a significant role in the firm's ability to accommodate its recent growth and its plans to recruit additional attorneys."

The firm's boosted presence bumps its occupancy up to approximately 25% of the 220,000-sf office complex, which is also known as Mt. Kemble Corporate Center. The property is owned by the New York-based Brickman Associates which, as reported by GlobeSt.com, bought it in June 2006 from an affiliate of Brookwood Financial Partners for $56.7 million. In the Coughlin Duffy lease transaction, Brickman was represented in-house by Paul Kotcher and by Dan Casey of CB Richard Ellis.
