Before becoming the head of international business here, Sheldon was an international director for JLL and based in Hong Kong. In his new role, he will "leverage his knowledge of international markets and the company's capabilities in those regions for the benefit of existing clients in the New York metropolitan region and throughout the Northeast," according to a JLL executive. "Sheldon will also develop and staff an international desk, forging relationships with key personnel in Jones Lang LaSalle's New York office to incorporate a global component to its range of client services."
Sheldon has more than 20 years of real estate experience, and joined the JLL in 1990 as a leasing director in Hong Kong. Over the years he has held a number of positions within the firm including head of tenant representation services for both Hong Kong and Greater China.
"Jeremy Sheldon has overseen many of the company's key global client relationships," says Peter Riguardi, president of JLL's New York office. "His considerable expertise in international business will be crucial to helping clients in the New York metropolitan region tap into the firm's integrated worldwide platform of services."
Before joining JLL, Sheldon worked for five years in London for DTZ International.
