Jones Lang LaSalle Expands CT Operations

The move from 500 Summer St. to its new 5,000-sf office at First Stamford Place will allow the firm to hire additional personnel as part of a planned expansion of its Connecticut operations.

Hallock, 60, has been involved in corporate and institutional real estate sales and leasing in the New York metropolitan area for more than 37 years. In his new role with Jones Lang LaSalle, he will be responsible for developing new business and servicing existing clients in Fairfield County. Hallock will be based out of the company's Stamford office.

"Gerard's background as an entrepreneur and his depth of knowledge of the state's real estate market will be crucial to allowing the company to continue to excel in Fairfield County."

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Hallock served as a senior vice president with Albert B. Ashforth Inc. Earlier, he was a principal with Rostenberg-Doern Co. Inc., which was later purchased by Insignia/ESG.

Hallock has completed various corporate assignments for Rayonier Inc., Allied Domecq, Xerox Corp., Labatt USA, Ryan Partnership, Alea North America, Coldwater Seafood, Common Fund and Danone Waters of North America. He has served as exclusive agent for a host of the region's major corporations and developers, including the leasing and sale of Stamford Towers for Lehman Brothers, according to JLL officials.

Commenting on the firm's move to larger offices, Raymond Quartararo, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle's project and development services group says, "The new location provides our New York area operations with additional reach and depth to further increase the company's presence in the state and the surrounding region."

Jones Lang LaSalle is serving as project manager on significant projects for major developers throughout the state of Connecticut, including Front Street District in Hartford, W&M Metro Center II, the expansion of the WWE's television production facility in Stamford and the Houses at Greenwich in Greenwich.
