The lease signals an expansion and renewal for IMC, which was represented by Jeff Lipson of Stone Miller in Brentwood, with Arden represented internally by Derric DuBourdieu. The nonprofit is undergoing a major renovation of its office space to accommodate growth, according to Nancy Aossey, IMC's president and CEO.
International Medical Corps, a global humanitarian organization that was founded in 1984, provides rapid-response teams that help to ease the impact of man-made and natural disasters. It has provided help in more than 40 countries, working in some of the toughest parts of the world, such as Darfur, Northern Uganda, Afghanistan and areas affected by tsunamis.
Terms of IMC's new lease were not disclosed. Market reports for the first quarter of this year pegged average asking lease rates for office space on the Westside at about $3.30 per sf per month.
