The New York Sports Clubs location will be on the second floor of the 40-story 187-unit luxury condominium high-rise being built by Cappelli Enterprises of Valhalla, NY and New York City-based Donald Trump. The firm currently operates eight locations in Westchester County in: Croton-on-Hudson, Hartsdale, Hawthorne, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Scarsdale, Somers and at Cappelli's City Center complex in Downtown White Plains.

The New Rochelle facility will feature a basketball court, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, family changing room, and separate studios for aerobics, cycling, boxing and mind/body exercise programs. It will have two swimming pools--a lap pool and a pool for children's swimming lessons and aquatic exercise classes, company officials say.

"New York Sports Clubs is delighted to team up with Cappelli Enterprises at the Trump Plaza in New Rochelle," says Alex Alimanestianu, president and chief development officer of the sports enterprise. New York Sports Clubs is owned and operated by New York City-based Town Sports International Holdings, Inc. an owner and operator of fitness clubs in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic.
