"This facility is in a good location for life sciences or a high-tech company looking for a convenient location and flexible space options," says Bill Hunter, director of acquisitions and leasing for the San Diego-based BioMed. "GVA's life science practice group is a good match to position and market this specialty property."
BioMed made its entry into the New Jersey market when it bought 7 Graphics Dr. from local investors in 2005 for a reported $7.7 million. Since then, BioMed has completed a major capital improvement program on the asset. The 40,000-sf availability is divisible to 10,000 sf, and the space is currently listed with a "negotiable" asking rate.
Existing tenants include RedPoint Bio Corp., a biotech company focused on compounds to improve the taste of pharmaceutical, food and beverage products, occupying 18,600 sf as its headquarters. Also in the building is Medeikon Corp., an optical technology firm occupying approximately 14,000 sf as its headquarters location.
