"We have been at this location for 18 years," says store owner Tony Chernalis, who notes that the business was founded in 1960.
The signing was announced by Kevin Swill, president of Kushner Properties, which manages the property. "We have a steady flow of leasing activity at this complex," says Swill, whose company is the commercial real estate arm of the Florham Park, NJ-based Kushner Cos. "It's part of a fashionable suburb, and the Market Basket is a very popular draw."
Franklin Farms consists of 808 High Mountain Rd., a two-story retail and office building anchored by Market Basket. Building two is 851 Franklin Lakes Rd., featuring 14,000 sf of office space. The 10.3-acre also includes a service station pad site, as well as undeveloped woodlands.
