The five new tenants are CB Richard Ellis, representing a new office in the state for the firm, a location manned primarily by a retail brokerage team; Tishman Technologies; Cortiva Educational Institute; Mercon Coffee Inc.; and the Helma Institute of Massage Therapy. Brian Sekel, managing director of office and industrial properties, was NRDC's in-house rep for all five deals. Terms were not released.
"It represents one of our landmark properties," Sekel says. "These five tenants are strategic additions."
Located at Two Hudson Place, the building overlooks the Hudson River near the NJ Transit Hoboken Terminal. The US Postal Service is a long-time major tenant, occupying almost 20,000 sf on two floors of the eight-story building.
