Other development slated for the area near the shopping center is a project by Archstone-Smith, which is planning 300 apartments on 11.25 acres adjacent to the retail site. Other tenants at the shopping center include Blimpies, El Pollo Loco, Juice It Up, McDonalds, Panda Express, PFF Bank & Trust, Red Brick Oven Pizza and Starbucks.
NewMark Merrill, established in 1984, is developing new shopping centers in California in the cities of Thousand Oaks, San Diego and Rialto, with remodeling projects at existing centers in Oceanside, Carson and Upland. The company, owned by president and chief executive officer Sandy Sigal, has acquired and/or developed more than six million sf of shopping centers in more than 30 cities.
