Concentric, a purveyor of treatments for stroke victims, is currently housed in 21,000 sf at 1380 Shorebird Way, near Moffett Air Field. The new location, at 301 E. Evelyn, is about 3.5 miles south of its existing headquarters, near the confluence of state routes 85 and 237.
The company signed a sublease for the remaining term of Cytyc's commitment, which is a little less than five years. The negotiated lease rate was not immediately available but is believed to be substantially less than the estimated market value of $2 per sf, triple net. Jeff Rodgers with Cornish & Carey in Santa Clara represented Concentric.
Cytyc reportedly built out the space to a high standard. As a result, Concentric is already moving into the facility. The space will be used for office and manufacturing operations.
