MOUNT OLIVE, NJ-Sportcraft Ltd., a supplier of branded home recreational products, has renewed its 207,442-sf full-building lease at 313 Waterloo Valley Rd. here. Located in this township's Budd Lake section, the property serves as both the company's headquarters and its East Coast distribution center. The property, located within the New Jersey Foreign-Trade Zone Business Park, also includes a company showroom.
The renewal was brokered for the tenant by Jules Nissim and Stan Danzig of Cushman & Wakefield of NJ, East Rutherford. The duo had earlier negotiated Sportcraft's initial lease at 313 Waterloo Valley Rd. in 1997, when the company relocated there from Bergenfield. The landlord, Mount Olive Industrial Realty Co., was represented by Mitchell Katz of CB Richard Ellis. Terms of the latest signing were not released.
This time around, Sportcraft again looked at relocation options, both inside of New Jersey and outside of the state. "We looked at many alternative markets, but Sportcraft appreciates the quality of life, as well as the labor pool offered in western Morris County," Nissim says. "Ultimately, this location best suits the company's requirements. And retaining Sportcraft, which is a well-established credit tenant, is good news not only for the region, but for the State of New Jersey."
The 81-year-old Sportcraft specializes in home recreational products, including table games ranging from foosball, to table tennis and billiard and parlor tables. Its lawn and outdoor games range from badminton and volleyball, to croquet, bocce and horseshoes. Fitness equipment is also part of the company's range of products, which are distributed to major national retailers.
