AAAA Universe LLC is controlled by the owners of AAAA World Import-Export Inc., an exporter and wholesale distributor of electronics and home appliances. Miami-based Capital Commercial Group principal Ernesto Casal represented Mana Construction in the transaction and Stuart Gordon, of Flagler Development, represented AAAA Universe. "The seller is an investor that owns quite a bit of property in Florida," Casal tells GlobeSt.com. "It was the right time to sell."
AAAA Universe LLC has not yet announced its plans for the site, but the site will likely be redeveloped. "It's one of the landmark locations in Dade County," Casal says. "There's been a lot of interest in this site over the years."
Casal adds that Doral is home to several major employers, such as Carnival Cruise Lines and Burger King, and has been the site of much development activity in recent years. "The site is the gateway to the booming city of Doral," he says. "The property size and location presents multiple development opportunities."
