Marisa Manley, president of Commercial Tenant Real Estate Representation Ltd. of New York City, says CBLPath now occupies the entire 65,000-sf building. Manley represented CBLPath in the transaction. Larry Ruggieri and Glenn Walsh of Cushman & Wakefield spoke for the building owner, RPW Group of White Plains. The new 23,000-sf lease is for the entire third floor of the building and has a lease term of 10 years.
The 760 Westchester Ave. building is located on the former campus of Altria Group, which until several years ago had occupied the 760 building and 800 Westchester Ave. RPW Group purchased the property and has since successfully converted the 520,000-sf building into a multi-tenanted property.
CBLPath, which is headquartered in Ocala, FL, announced in December 2005 its intent to consolidate operations center and laboratory operations from two facilities in Mamaroneck, NY to 42,000 sf of space at 760 Westchester Ave. Manley, who represented CBLPath in its initial lease at the Rye Brook property, says CBLPath's expansion was driven by its rapid growth in its anatomic pathology diagnostic services business.
