HIALEAH, FL-Curtain wall company Gamma Industries signed a five-year, 157,000-sf lease for space at 5600 NW 37th Ave. The lease is valued at approximately $5 million.

The landlord of the building is Perrine Marlin Corp., which is owned by David and Morris Berger. The landlord was represented by Cushman & Wakefield south Florida industrial team of Brian Smith, Wayne Ramoski and Audley Bosch. Gamma Industries was represented by Ed Easton, which recently acquired the company, and Christina Mendilla.

Smith tells GlobeSt.com that the property was being marketed when Easton contacted the industrial team with a need for space to expand operations. The company has another location in Pompano Beach. Gamma Industries occupies the entire building.

"The location and zoning were important factors in Gamma's decision to take the space," Smith says. "They also liked the ceiling heights, column spacing and heavy power at the site."
