"With the renovation, we continue to boost Short Hills as an urban resort-style destination," says Bert James, the hotel's general manager and area vice president for Hilton Hotels Corp. And as an adjunct to the makeover, the hotel has initiated a "smoke-free" policy throughout the property, including all of the guest rooms. "Recognizing a growing desire for smoke-free accommodations, the launch of our smoke-free policy is a direct response to the wishes expressed by our clientele," James says.
Besides its guest-room inventory, the property includes the 15,8000-sf Spa at Short Hills & Salon and 12,000 sf of meeting room space. The hotel is also directly across from the 1.3 million-sf Mall at Short Hills.
