Osborn, whose title in the new position is managing director, will oversee more than 100 employees in the Anaheim office. In addition to brokerage services, he will be responsible for new business development, client relations, property management and facility management for the Anaheim office.
Osborn, formerly an office broker with Cushman & Wakefield, joins senior managing director Moore as part of the new leadership team that CBRE has assembled for the Orange County Region following the retirement of Bower, a 25-year veteran of the company. Bower is continuing to maintain an office at the Newport Beach branch as an employee of CBRE and will be working as a consultant on a part-time basis as projects arise.
Osborn, who has been active in Orange County real estate circles for more than 20 years, brings management experience in addition to his brokerage credentials. He served as the head of Orange County operations for the former Cushman Realty Co. from 1993 to 2001 after starting his commercial real estate career at CB from 1986 until 1991.
Osborn comments that the CBRE he is joining today is "a much different company than when I was here years ago." He points out that the company has evolved into a dominant force not only in the area of landlord and institutional representation but on the tenant and user side of the business as well.
