The buildings will be offered for sale or for lease, with each to be situated on its own lot. The developers note that the new office complex is located in a gateway position to the 702-acre RiverPark community that is now under construction.
The RiverPark development will include 2,800 residences and nearly 2.5 million sf of space dedicated to retail, hotel and convention uses. The JV says that the office complex is designed to complement the master plan for the larger development and to meet the increasing demand for office space in Ventura County.
The eight-building complex is expected to be completed by the final quarter of 2008.
Martin Teitelbaum of Martin Teitelbaum Construction, Inc. and Ken Kahan of California Landmark, who have ventured on seven previous developments in the Ventura County area, have named the Lee & Associates team of Scott Carper, David Kim and Grant Harris as leasing and sales agents on the project.
Financing is by Capmark Finance, with Martin Teitelbaum Construction as the general contractor.
