The mall is currently anchored by Macy's, Von Maur, Sears, J.C. Penney and Dick's Sporting Goods. The 17 retailers to open in the addition include a 28,000-sf Barnes & Noble, Ann Taylor Loft, Chico's, Coldwater Creek, Jos. A. Bank, White HouselBlack Market, Dr. Tavel, Portrait Innovations and Whitehall Jewelers. The retailers will open in November. "We believe these exciting tenants will strengthen (the mall's) position as the retail hub of south Indianapolis and indeed, south-central Indiana," said John Phipps, VP of development at Simon, in a statement. The company did not provide projected lease or vacancy rates.

The addition will also feature new restaurants, such as The Cheesecake Factory, Stir Crazy, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, Paradise Bakery and Johnny Rockets. These restaurants will open in early 2008.
