TRENTON, NJ-The four-story building at 176 Division St., a former cigar factory, has been put on the market by its private owners with an asking price of $3 million. The ownership has hired New York-based Massey Knakal Realty Services to find a buyer, with that firm's CEO John Ciraulo handling the assignment.
The building totals 68,148 sf, and has been approved for approximately 58,010 sf of saleable residential space, consisting of 43 condos, some with home office space. Those approvals have been obtained from both the City of Trenton and the Mercer County planning board.
Commonly referred to as the Cigar Factory, the building at one time was also a warehouse for Stevens Furniture. The irregular 241-foot by 154-foot property at the corner of Division St. and College St. also contains a single-family home, which is cleared for demolition to make way for more parking.
"It's a development project that is ready to be built," Ciraulo says.
