Waldrop tells GlobeSt.com that, to grow the business, he plans to hire more people. "The office currently has 11 people, we hope to double that," he says.
Waldrop was formerly with Cresa Partners, where he was senior vice president representing local and international corporate clients in a variety of transactions, including build-to-suits, lease and fee acquisitions and sale and leasebacks. Prior to Cresa Partners, he spent three years with Cushman & Wakefield. "We hope to increase the business by increasing revenue with our existing clients but also by bringing new clients in," he says.
In addition, the company has hired Andre Jones as vice president, with responsibility for brokerage services in Midtown, Downtown and Buckhead and business development. With more than 13 years of finance and commercial real estate experience, Jones previously worked as a construction finance manager for HomeBanc Mortgage Corp.'s Southeast Region.
"Our vision is to continue building a conflict-free platform that provides global corporate real estate solutions for office and industrial companies locally and around the globe," says UGL Equis' Eastern Region senior vice president Jim Wassel, in a prepared statement.
