In his new role, Lipscomb will be responsible for overseeing strategic management and operations for the firm's third-party property management practice. Transwestern oversees approximately 9.8 million sf of commercial space in Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
Transwestern currently has about 100 employees in the Southeast region, but is looking to expand. "We're trying to grow pragmatically across all business lines," Transwestern Southeast Region president Jim Ledbetter tells GlobeSt.com.
In his new position, Kiser will represent office and industrial tenants in assisting with corporate office space, business park or build-to-suit objectives in Atlanta and the Southeast. He was previously with Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in Atlanta. Officials from Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT did not comment on Kiser's new position. In his past roles, Kiser has represented companies such as Standard Register, Johnson Controls, Bosch-Siemens Home Appliances, IVAX Pharma, Pallas Technology, Envisionware and Commnet Wireless.
Ledbetter adds that the company does not have a number of new employees it is seeking to hire in the coming years, but it plans to grow organically rather than acquiring other companies. "The organic model gives us the best return on our investment," he says.
In addition to Lipscomb's promotion and Kiser's hiring, Transwestern has hired Stephanie Allen as marketing coordinator for the Atlanta office. She is responsible for assisting with new business development, client services, and internal/external communications programs.
