DENVER-Front Range Portable Storage, a provider of Smartbox brand mobile storage units for residential and commercial customers, has signed a lease for 82,000 sf at ProLogis' Stapleton Business Center, a 295-acre-industial park located at the intersection of Interstate 70 and Havana Street. The building will serve as a primary warehousing and distribution facility for Smartbox units, serving customers throughout Denver, Boulder and surrounding areas.

According to Jack Stansbery, general manager of Front Range, the new facility will provide access to several major highways in Colorado, enabling convenient local and regional distribution. The Stapleton Business Center is situated at the northwest corner of I-70 and Havana Street, with access to I-225, I-270, I-25 and E-470.

The ProLogis development comprises 12 facilities totaling 2.7 million sf and is approved for more than 3.8 million sf of new development. Tenants include Ford Motor Company, Whirlpool Corp., Keebler Co., Dryer's Grand Ice Cream, North American Van Lines and Aspen Pet Products.

Smartbox was founded in 2004 and serves more than 40 metropolitan areas across the US. Front Range Portable Storage was represented in the lease by Bill Thompson of CB Richard Ellis.
