In the largest of the leases, regional bedding chain Sleepy's has taken a 3,600-sf space in a transaction actually involving a takeover of a former Rockaway Bedding lease in the wake of the latter's merger into the former. Goldstein VP Lew Finkelstein represented the tenant.
Two of the new tenants are eateries. Mexican restaurant chain Salsarita's took 2,500 sf, the company's initial location in the Garden State, with the tenant represented by Goldstein's Ryan Glastein. And Asian Grill, a local restaurant represented by Steve Zavidow, has taken 3,500 sf.
And the final new tenant at the property is Allstate. The insurer, represented by Goldstein's Florian Suserman, has taken a 1,500-sf space. The various signings have leased-up the new shopping center.
The owner of the property, Vornado Realty Trust based in Paramus, was represented in-house in the various signings. Terms were not released. The shopping center is located on Route 17 North here, near that route's intersection with Route 120.
