SUMMIT, NJ-The 60,000-sf former Summit Medical Group headquarters here at 120 Summit Pl. will get a new life, with Hilltop Parmley Partners, a local group, now in the process of redeveloping the four-story asset as a LEED-certified class A office building. The site became available for redevelopment when Summit Medical relocated its offices to nearby Berkeley Heights.
And Hilltop Parmley has hired GVA Williams NJ, Parsippany, to find tenants for the space. That firm's SVP Bryn Cinque and assistant VP Jim Bailey are handling the assignment.
"It's a great location for a company looking for an eco-friendly headquarters facility," Cinque says. "We expect substantial demand for the space because of its proximity to the Summit train station."
The building is currently being stripped to its basic skeleton, and the rebuilding is slated for completion by Q4 2008. It will have one-site parking, some of it covered, and a walk-out terrace garden, and will be LEED certified.
