Bernstein was appointed president of Trammell Crow's local office in 2004. Before joining that firm, he was an EVP at CB Richard Ellis, which acquired Trammell last year.
During his tenure at Trammell, Bernstein arranged leasing and equity transactions for such companies as JPMorgan Chase & Co.; Random House; Coty, King & Spalding; and the Chubb Corp. He was brought on at that firm to build a brokerage platform and investment sales and to provide a bundle of integrated services to the company's corporate and strategic accounts.
Colliers ABR has operations here and in the Westchester County, New Jersey and Fairfield County, CT markets. The firm provides tenant services, landlord services, agency brokerage, consulting, property management, project monitoring and market research.
It is an arm of Colliers International Property Consultants, which has 267 offices in 57 countries, with nearly 673 million sf under management.
