The new Streets of Brentwood development is a 400,000-sf project situated on 60 acres at the northeast corner of State Highway 4 and Sandy Creek Road. It will include more than 60 specialty retailers, a 14-screen Rave Motion Pictures, a bookstore and several casual and upscale restaurants.

The developers chose the site for factors including its location more than 40 minutes away from the nearest regional mall and within a trade area where the median annual household income is $80,000, notes David Kass, president of Continental. The developers broke ground on the project this fall and expect to complete in in the fall of 2008.

The new tenants at the Streets of Brentwood include American Eagle, Ground Zero, Rave Motion Pictures, Banana Republic, Gymboree, REI, Bath & Body Works, Hollister Co., Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Chico's, J.Jill, Sunglass Hut, Children's Place, Jos. A. Bank, Talbots, Coldwater Creek, LensCrafters, Tilly's, Delia's, Limited Too, Victoria's Secret, DSW, No Fear and White House/Black Market.

Continental has developed more than $2 billion of mixed-use retail, multifamily housing units and multi-use office space throughout the US. Retail West is a boutique retail real estate brokerage firm specializing in retail site selection and tenant and landlord representation in Northern California.
