Owner AMB Property Corp., which also has its regional offices here, was represented by brokers from Jones Lang LaSalle, including managing director Charles Klatskin, EVPs Robert Kossar and David Knee and VP Alex Previdi. Stan Danzig and Steve Elman of Cushman & Wakefield of NJ represented the privately owned Maggy London. Terms were not disclosed.
"The Meadowlands submarket is highly sought after by companies in the consumer goods and food and beverage sector," Paul Rosen, AMB's VP and regional manager for the East Region, tells GlobeSt.com. "Our operating properties in this location are close to 100% leased. Our development's access to Manhattan is one of the distinguishing attributes for tenants such as Maggy London."
Part of AMB's Highway 17 portfolio, 55 Madison Circle Dr. recently underwent a renovation, according to Rosen. That effort included a new roof, a sprinkler upgrade, loading door and parking lot reconfiguration, new office space and HVAC systems.
With the signing of Maggy London, approximately 39,000 sf remains available for lease at the 151,000-sf property. That space comes with seven tailgate loading doors, according to Rosen.
"AMB's development differentiates itself from other warehouse and distribution facilities in the Meadowlands with its high door-to-space ratio," Kossar says. "We expect a very high demand for the remaining available space."
