CB Richard Ellis first VPs Randy Eigen and Daniel Casey, along with senior associate Neal Heinze, represented landlord Mount Arlington Development. SVP Bob Lee of Grubb & Ellis spoke for Nova Works. Terms were not released.
"With the rising cost of fuel, there's greater demand for office space outside of the congested areas to the east," Casey says. "As population growth continues in northwestern New Jersey, and into Pennsylvania, traffic congestion along I-80 to the east of this location is only going to increase."
The site is located at Exit 30 of I-80, and Mount Arlington Corporate Center currently consists of three buildings totaling just more than 250,000 sf. Current availabilities in the three buildings add up to approximately 18,600 sf, and the site is cleared for two more building that could increase total space to 600,000 sf. It's also part of a 270-acre planned-use development that includes a residential component, two shopping centers and two hotels.
