The technology-networking firm recently unveiled its new St. Louis regional sales headquarters built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards for clean air and energy efficiency – the first of many LEED-certified offices and facilities Cisco plans to build.
The firm is occupying 17,400 sf in Chesterfield Ridge Center at the 1,500-acre master planned community being developed by Sachs Properties.
"Reducing our impact on the environment is important to Cisco, to our customers and to the community," said John Moses, regional manager for Cisco's Missouri Commercial Region. "Our new 'green' office features the latest in Cisco workspace design and collaborative technologies such as TelePresence, which helps reduce carbon emissions by minimizing travel. Using these tools, Cisco is committed to helping people work, live, learn and play in a more environmentally friendly way."
