The listing brokers for AMB Galleano Distribution Center were Mike Fowler, Tim O'Rourke and Tony Morales of the Staubach Co. AMB has enlisted Fowler and Tim O'Rourke of Staubach along with Michael McCrary of Colliers International as the leasing agents for the Mira Loma warehouse, which is vacant.
In the case of the newly acquired land in San Bernardino, the San Francisco-based company says that it plans to develop distribution space on the property. AMB now has approximately 23 million sf of facilities either operating and under development in Southern California. The company sees the Inland Empire as "arguably one of the strongest distribution markets in the US."
The Inland Empire transactions follow another recent AMB deal in Southern California in which the company signed Carson, CA-based USC Intermodal for all 199,000 sf of the San Francisco-based industrial property specialist's AMB Clipper Distribution Center at 2626 E.Vista Industria in the South Bay submarket of Los Angeles. AMB bought the Clipper Center when it was vacant and brought it to modern standards before leasing it to USC Intermodal, which is a third-party logistics supplier.
