The group will also cater to clients based in Korea who wish to invest in the US real estate market or US businesses, as well as US-based companies and investors seeking to do business in Korea. The team represents investors as well as tenants and landlords in a range of sectors including office, retail and hotels.

Kim is an associate specializing in retail and Korean investment. Choi continues to focus on retail, tenant representation, and local and foreign investment.

Choi says that the new team's goal is, "to provide a special level of service to Korean clientele through our knowledge of Korean culture, Korean language and the Korean way of doing business." The group's clients include Yogurberry USA, Yogurberry Korea, Landmark Theater, LG Group, Posh Puppy, Nestle, and numerous Korean supermarkets, banks, landlords and investors.

The new NAI Capital team is the second such team targeted toward the Korean market that has been announced in recent days. As reported on GlobeSt.com this week, Sperry Van Ness also announced the opening of an office to focus on the Korean market in anticipation of greater US investment from Koreans in the wake of the Korean government's lifting of some restrictions on foreign investing.
