Nelson Bros., launched in 2007, was founded by brothers Patrick and Brian Nelson to acquire, finance and own office, retail and multifamily properties for TIC investments throughout the West and Southwestern US. The company expects to syndicate eight to 12 properties for 2008.
According to Patrick Nelson, the firm chose Morales for her knowledge and experience of the TIC industry and the closing process. At Argus Realty she helped the company close 24 properties, raising more than $800 million in commercial real estate. Before Argus, Morales worked in the escrow industry at Chicago Title Co. Before her real estate career she implemented a variety of sales and management training programs for Fiscal Federal Credit Union in Glendale, CA and Vista Federal Credit Union, a division of the Walt Disney Co. in Burbank, CA.
Patrick Nelson, who is a principal and the executive director at Nelson Bros., is a partner and the managing director for White Pacific Securities 1031exchange program, the managing broker dealer for Nelson Bros. Brian Nelson serves as the deputy director of Nelson Bros. and concurrently runsthe 1031 exchange desk for White Pacific Securities. The Nelson Bros. management team also includes Mark Hellewell, its director of operations, who is responsible for managing daily operations and company policies.
