Town Sports International, an owner and operator of health clubs in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, will use the space for support services for its health clubs. New York City-based TSI operates under the brand names of New York Sports Clubs, Boston Sports Clubs, Washington Sports Clubs and Philadelphia Sports Clubs. In addition, it operates three clubs in Switzerland.

Mitchell Hersh, Mack-Cali president and CEO, says that "Town Sports is a leader within its industry, and fits well into our tenant roster of high-quality businesses. We look forward to serving the company's space needs at this Elmsford site for many years to come."

The 399 Executive Blvd. building had been occupied by American Banknote, which leased the property until year's end 2007. Ed Gray of Ed Gray USA Inc. represented the tenant. Mack-Cali was represented in-house by Ivan Abry, senior director of leasing.

In late March, New York Sports Clubs opened a 42,000-sf facility at the Trump Plaza project in New Rochelle. The sports club was its ninth in Westchester County. NYSC's other Westchester locations are: Croton-on-Hudson, Hartsdale, Hawthorne, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Scarsdale, Somers and at the City Center complex in Downtown White Plains. The firm also operates clubs in Nanuet and West Nyack in Rockland County, Carmel in Putnam County as well as eight locations in Fairfield County, CT including two in Greenwich, three in Stamford and clubs in Danbury, Norwalk and Westport. NYSC also operates a facility in West Hartford and has extensive holdings in New York City. In early April NYSC opened a new club on 86th Street in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn.
