RexCorp officials say that more than 60,000 sf in leases were signed in the first quarter at its 1.4 million sf, 14-building Platinum Mile portfolio. The other major deal of note at the complex was Hitachi Metals Ltd., which signed a new 10,646 sf lease at 701 Westchester Ave. Philip Luria of Austin Corporate Properties represented the tenant in this transaction.
At its 710,000-sf Tarrytown Corporate Center complex, RexCorp inked 27,400 sf in lease deals in the first three months of this year. Datcap, a provider of document capture and forms processing software, renewed its five-year lease for 10,079 sf at 660 White Plains Rd. and expanded its operations with another 1,662 sf. Also at that complex, Bayer Corp. expanded its operations at 555 White Plains Rd. No further details on the expansion was provided. Brad Armstrong of Equis represented the tenant in the transaction.
