The Baltimore-based developer's newest metroplex project, Prime Outlets-Grand Prairie, will sit on 64 acres at the intersection of Interstate 20 and Texas 360. The 485,000-sf development is penciled for a late 2009 opening of roughly 120 outlet stores and an on-site food court.
"Prime Outlets-Grand Prairie is well-positioned to become one of the region's most popular shopping destinations for local consumers and the region's growing tourist base," Gayle Tremblay, vice president of Dallas-based Neiman Marcus' clearance division, says in this morning's press release. An interview was not available by deadline. The retailer also has a Last Call in the 1.6-million-sf Grapevine Mills Mall, which is about 20 miles north of the Grand Prairie site, and one in Allen, TX.
