"This opportunity will create great entertainment in a place where people also work, shop and dine," says Emanuel Stern, locally based Hartz's president and COO, in a prepared statement, a reference to the 175-acre Harmon Meadows' mixed uses. "No one does that better than Kerasotes, and we are looking forward to working with them."

The new location will be one of two that will introduce the Kerasotes' brand to the Garden State, and there is a Hartz connection in the other one as well. The company is planning to open a 16-screen, 3,992-seat complex in Hartz's new Edison Town Square in Edison.

"We are excited to work with Hartz Mountain and be part of Secaucus," says Dean Kerasotes, COO of the company that bears his name, in a statement. "Our theater will bring premier cinema design and industry-leading customer service to this location."
