Howard and Sawdon both will specialize in strategic representation to end-users of commercial real estate and buyers and sellers of investment properties in their new posts at Daum, which is an affiliate of Oncor International. Howard has more than 24 years in the commercial real estate industry and was a principal at Lee & Associates, as well as one of the founders of the Lee & Associates National Accounts Group.
Before that he was the founder and chief executive officer of Resource Commercial Real Estate Co. He also is a former director of real estate at TRW and was a senior real estate manager for Macy's Department stores.
[IMGCAP(2)]Sawdon, who has more than 25 years of real estate experience both as a broker and licensed sales associate in Colorado and California, was a senior associate with the Lee & Associates National Accounts Representation Group serving corporations and investors. Before that he was with Resource Commercial and before that he held senior executive positions with a national real estate outsourcing company based in Southern California, specializing in commercial and residential asset management and valuations outsourcing in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
The hirings of Howard and Sawdon follow a strategy, previously reported on GlobeSt.com, in which DAUM is expanding its service lines. As DAUM execs explained it in interviews with GlobeSt.com, a core component of the company's strategy is to expand to new markets and offer a broader service profile.
